Strike in our Swedish mills resolved

We are glad to inform that in the course of April 26th, the Swedish paper workers' union, Pappers, has reached an agreement with the mediators over the long lasting negotiation for the renewal of the collective contract.

This good news is clearing the way for starting-up our SCA Containerboard mill in Munksund after 10 days of stop and our SCA Containerboard in Obbola, which just stopped a couple of hours on April 26th.

Thanks to a number of measures taken over the last weeks and the good cooperation with our Customers, we have been able to maintain a certain level of service during these difficult days.

We are now putting in place all the necessary procedures to safely and quickly restore the efficiency of the supply chain.

We would like to sincerely apologise for any trouble the consequence of this action, completely beyond our will, might have caused.
