SCA Containerboard Impressions Event in Lucca

On May 20th 2010, SCA Containerboard hosted a customer event launching the paper mill’s newest products as well as the renewed Lucca mill. 

The event welcomed over 160 participants, including Customers from South Europe market areas, local authorities and SCA management; the day was made up of a series of inspiring presentations and fruitful moments of dialogue, followed by a visit to the mill and finally a dinner at the villa.

The event was set in the picturesque city of Lucca, Tuscany (Italy). “Our mill is one of the leading paper production facilities in Europe with state-of-the-art machinery, production lines and software that guarantee excellence in production.” states Stefano Rossi, Marketing & Sales Director of SCA Containerboard.  “During this event we presented to our Customers SCA Containerboard’s newest products, amongst other SCA White Top Testliner and SCA Medium HP, produced on-site in Lucca. Two interactive modules on Communication and Product & Service gave the opportunity to discover how strong we value the partnership with all our Customers”. 
An exclusive tour of the renewed Lucca operation, now fully equipped with improved technical facilities and a modernized building structure, was given to the visitors along with a behind-the-scenes look at our production process.

As the event was involving SCA White Top Testliner B which shows the printability and run-ability qualities of this paper, we want to get people’s impressions of what colour means to them.  We did this by involving a local school in Lucca to realise artwork on our SCA White Top Testliner paper with there favourite colours and then we displayed the drawings at the event.

It was an enormously successful day and we would like to thank all the visitors for taking time to join us at our event.
