Our industry and the needs of our customers are continuously evolving. So has SCA Containerboard strategy. From a traditional cost-oriented company, we have worked to become a preferred supplier. Now our aspiration is to be the Supplier of Choice of our customers, and to become a real partner in their businesses.

How will we achieve this? We know that being the Supplier of Choice carries with it great responsibilities. We see these in terms of three basic pillars:

    With us as partner, our customers can feel secure, knowing that their containerboard supplies will arrive on time and in excellent condition, keeping their own production and customer deliveries on schedule. We have the organisation, expertise and partnerships in place to ensure consistent and reliable sourcing.

    Our Containerboard Customer Service continuously shares its knowledge with our customers, offering timely assistance in developing the perfect solutions. In order to deliver consistent, high-quality products and service, we apply world-class performance standards to all our operations. At SCA Containerboard, our commitment to quality is supported by serious and reliable testing and analysis. Each of our mills is furnished with the most modern equipment for process and paper testing.

  • Effective Communication:
    Through continuous dialogue with our customers, our people and experts develop a full understanding of the latest requirements and industry developments.

We are motivated and committed to fulfill our mission of being considered by our customer as the Supplier of Choice! We are convinced of the quality of our strategy and the power of our structure.  And we know it is vital to base our development on a solid company culture, because we can move ahead only when the entire organisation lives up to its commitments. 

Communication material

It was in early 2001, that SCA Containerboard first launched the Boarding Pass. More than a product book with the readability of a website (as we called it then), the Boarding Pass was the result of a listening process, a willingness to establish stronger and closer contact with our customers. More than printed paper, it contained our philosophy and all our ambitious commitments. It was, in fact, the first time a containerboard company had dared to counter the credo that containerboard is nothing more than a commodity! We believe in the power of our products and the infinite creativity of our industry to stand up against any competitive material. Eight years have passed. During that time SCA Containerboard has not stopped the daily listening process. This has led to a continuous improvement in our services and supporting tools. We are now ready to enter a new phase of our history together with our customers.
